Today, I needed the comfort of blues and greens, and to up the odds of satisfaction I went with a wandering straight pour. Partway in I thought it was a just a mess….but I’ve learned to push through those first impressions. Took me a while to realize I have nothing to lose, the paint is on the canvas already, so push the envelope until you know it’s a pointless. All I had to do with this one was change my perspective and it captivated me. Another one of life’s more consistent lessons, I believe.
Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties.
