Deep heat

I’m working with split cups again, and the challenge always is to come up with an interesting composition instead of the same old thing. Well, here is the same old thing! Thankfully, sometimes the color palette will make up for a mundane composition, and the excellent lines that the split cup offers also help bring depth.

We are in the dog days of summer, and the first thing I thought with this palette was how lovely to have all that cool turquoise surrounding the hot copper element. Great combo.
