Lunar harbor

Simple flip cup today, and after the cup was emptied I was disappointed about the color distribution. But yet again, first impressions lacked information! I had a lot of paint to work with and so was able to bring this together for a composition I quite like. The cell development happened in just the right places, too.

I recently started working with watercolors after a two year absence from them, and it feels like having another creative outlet has taken some of the (sense of) pressure off my pouring results.

And who knows? Before long I may post a little watercolor painting! Well, as always, one day at a time.
