I’m in a floral watercolors class right now and working a lot on leaves. I guess that has kind of bled over into my play time, looking at these pieces. And that’s okay, still having fun, in class and on my own.
I caught an angle in the sunlight to get that photo above where I painted the silhouette with Skrim copper red. Never as gorgeous as in person, but it’s not too far off. Below is a photo of the same painting taken under daylight lamp that shows the watercolor background much more accurately, though has turned the copper into a pink. I like them both!





That’s so pretty Krissy. The copper really adds something special. They are all good but the colors in that one really catch my eye. SA
