Days 16-21

I’m still at it every day, and beyond the fun of it I may actually be picking up a better understanding of the medium and some tricks along the way. I have more than 6 paintings from this period, but one or two I’m, like, shall we say not thrilled with? So they went in the “process” bin and won’t make an appearance here. (And that wheelbarrow looks like a grocery cart to me, but who would put a bunch of flowers in a grocery cart, right?).

Looking at this group, I can see the predominant theme (if we must have one) is whimsy. What a blessing to find whimsy in my day and my life!

In the long run, we shape our lives and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.
