Another piece done in the Dutch pour style. The canvas is covered with a base coat, and your colors mixed with pouring medium are then applied in a puddle or lines. Next, air is used to blow the colored paints out across the base coat. This can be done with your mouth, a straw, or even a hair dryer. After that you can tweak or embellish areas to further compose the painting. This is a really fun method of paint pouring, and I hope to do more of it in the future.
As you might have guessed from the gallery, I am very fond of blues. I spent the first 50 years of my life wearing primarily blues and neutral tones. At some point I woke up to discover other colors, but the love of all shades of blue has remained.
If you desire, I can cover the back of the canvas with craft paper, and a sawtooth hanger can also be added at no charge.
