This 8×10 canvas was done in a very simple flip cup method. Paint colors are mixed with a pouring medium and then all colors are layered in one cup. The paints are then poured directly onto the canvas and tilted to compose and also remove excess paint.
In this piece, the paint was poured from the cup with a specific jiggle type of movement which creates the fingers or feathery appearance. The saturation is great and emphasized by the white, but what I enjoy the most is that I get completely different impressions depending on how it is oriented.
If you desire, I can cover the back of the canvas with craft paper, and a sawtooth hanger can also be added at no charge.
