This canvas is done in a dip method. A base coat is spread across the canvas, and then you add your colors which have been mixed with a pouring medium. You apply them based on your desired composition. Then a napkin, paper towel, or piece of plastic wrap is gently laid on top of the canvas, allowed to settle, and then slowly removed. This leaves very soft edges to much of the paint.
As only my second attempt at a dip method, I was very taken with this 10×10 canvas…and have had a hard time deciding whether to keep it or offer it. So if it’s here for very long I will take that as a sign and add it to my own small collection of favorites.
If you desire, I can cover the back of the canvas with craft paper, and a sawtooth hanger can also be added at no charge.
