Item 8721 – Pacific ripples

Another piece done in the Dutch pour style. The canvas is covered with a base coat, and your colors mixed with pouring medium are then applied in a puddle or lines. Next, air is used to blow the colored paints out across the base coat. This can be done with your mouth, a straw, or even a hair dryer. After that you can tweak or embellish areas to further compose the painting. This is a really fun method of paint pouring, and I hope to do more of it in the future.

I was again hungering for blue and green, the heart of the Pacific Northwest, along with a sense of fluidity. Ticked both those boxes with this one!

If you desire, I can cover the back of the canvas with craft paper, and a sawtooth hanger can also be added at no charge.
